Are you in the mood for something filling and incredibly cozy? Salisbury steak gives your dinner plate the warm embrace it needs! Smothered in a rich mushroom gravy, these succulent, seasoned beef patties are a timeless classic. I adore it with buttered noodles or mashed potatoes. Flavorful, filling, and cozy!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, onion, egg, and seasonings. Form into four oval patties.
  2. Put those patties aside after searing them in a skillet with olive oil for 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
  3. Sauté the mushrooms in the same skillet until they are tender and golden (yum).
  4. Gently place the patties back in the pan after adding the beef broth and bringing it to a simmer.
  5. To thicken the sauce, quickly make a slurry of cornstarch and stir it in.
  6. Simmer for a further five to ten minutes, or until the patties are cooked through and the sauce is rich.
  7. Serve with any warm side you like.
